Buddha – A Self-Portrait (2026)

About the series

„Buddha – A Self-Portrait” reflects on the difference between appearance and inner reality. We often perceive others through familiar images, expectations and assumptions, believing we understand who they are or who they should be. Here Buddha becomes a mask: a composed and recognizable surface behind which a far more complex reality can exist. The series explores this space between perception and identity, asking what remains unseen when a person is reduced to the image others have created of them.
