About the series

“Portraits of a Rooster”, explores individuality, character, and attitude through a series of highly stylized portraits. Each rooster becomes a distinct personality, shifting between pride, vulnerability, confidence and absurdity. More than animal portraits, the works are character studies. The rooster becomes a vehicle for exploring how we present ourselves, how we protect ourselves and how we wish to be seen. The viewer is invited to look beyond the feathers and discover something recognizable human.
